Buddy, our buddy....

Lindsay and I have a new addition into the Eagar household. His name is Buddy. We rescued Buddy from a no good dirty cop in the east bay. He's a ten month old Goldendoodle (Golden Retriever and Poodle mix). He is our special dog. He is still very puppy and has a few issues from his last home but he is learning quickly. He is exhausted after a full day of playing with Lindsay's dog groups and is currently sleeping on my foot. At ten months we is already 70 lbs and growing. He is going go be a very big boy but he's going to be our very big boy. He already is feeling at home and we are all feeling this is where he was meant to be.

Oh...His feet.....

and his nose......

Such an interesting dog.

The Property is GREEN!!!

I had my first swim of the year in the Abel pond last weekend. It was......very refreshing but totally worth it.

Mailman Lunch Break

We noticed some feet sticking out of a mailbox as we picked up the dogs. It took us a while to figure out what was going on but we concluded that he was taking his lunch inside the mailbox, or he had found a package full of brownies and was sneeking a couple. We love the weird things we see in the city.

True Joy

I recently rediscovered this picture of Anne at our wedding. It makes me happy and hungry for ice cream.

Facebook, should I be scared?!

Recently I was at my friend Tim's house and was involved in a small debate. The debate was whether Facebook or blogging are a better waste of time. Just for the record I have both but I have put some thought into the issue for the passed couple of days. Lets discuss Facebook for a second. I was recently in the bathroom doing what the room was designed for and Lindsay yelled in to ask me about the identity of my most recent addition as friend on Facebook. "Carol Porter Warnick" is the name of my Grandmother. I love my grandmother very much but I don't know how I feel about my grandmother being able to "super poke" all my friends. I love that I can hear from my loved ones so easily and see so many pictures of people that I may not be close to geographically but I just wonder who will be next to join my list of friends and people that might have possible met me before.

Ok blogging.... The pressure can just be to much for me. It seems like I keep getting all these posts on my wall that I need to update my blog. I started seriously concidering carring my camera with me all the time just in case I run in to a bloggable experience. My brother-in-law told me that we were taken off of his daily blog rotation. I don't know if I can handle much more of this kind of rejection. I am sorry to admit but I lost contact with a good friend after he stopped updating his blog. ( http://sesquipedalianisms.blogspot.com/ )

I think as long as we embrace the closeness this technology can bring and not fight over who has more facebook friends or who gets more comments on their blog (by the way positive comments are always appreciated). Ok, you can't possible be still reading this garbage. I have to go brainstorm something clever to put on my facebook to let everyone know I'm doing something cool.
